ABOUT ANA SALORT

Founder of She Visits Places

She Visits Places is a slow travel platform dedicated to culture-led itineraries and thoughtfully structured travel guides for Spain, Uruguay, Latin America, and USA hidden gems.

Founded by Ana Salort, the platform helps intentional travelers move beyond rushed checklists and experience destinations with depth, rhythm, and purpose.

Born in Uruguay and based in Boston for over 20 years, Ana’s work is shaped by her Latin roots, Menorcan heritage, and a lifelong appreciation for cities that reveal themselves slowly. Her travel philosophy centers on staying longer, walking neighborhoods with intention, and structuring trips around meaningful experiences rather than volume.

Through detailed 3–10 day itineraries, neighborhood guides, hotel recommendations, and locally grounded insights, She Visits Places helps travelers design trips that feel immersive, not overwhelming.

What began as a personal documentation of Latin-rooted destinations has evolved into a platform focused on thoughtful travel planning, cultural storytelling, and curated experiences for travelers who value depth over speed.

This is not about doing more.

It’s about noticing more.
